Retriever's mission is to unite and safeguard every pet's medical journey with compassion and accuracy, believing that all pet's medical history should be easily accessible and consolidated, regardless of where their care takes them. This concept is amazing to me as a pet parent - imagine being on vacation with your dog (or other) and you have to take a trip to the emergency vet; no history for your pups vaccines, past medical conditions, or... anything. Retriever's database compiles ALL of that in one, easy to navigate platform that saves pawrents time and so much worry.

This project landed close to my pet-loving heart. We wanted to create a brand that fostered community and effectiveness. The client already had a logo that they loved for personal reasons; so instead of scrapping it, I revamped! I thought it was important to keep the elements of the brand that were there from its foundation, while also giving it a new life. Check out the new brand below!

The Site + Icons

Retriever's site needed to be the epitome of their brand: it's the central gathering place for all of their clients. I made sure to implement their core beliefs into every step of the process.

From creating custom illustrations and iconography to curating a massive gallery of on-brand stock photography to get them going; these puppies left with everything they needed to get their dream running.

The goal of the illustrations and icons were to give a bit of light and smiles to otherwise (kinda) boring line icons we normally see. Some people might not be havin ghte best of days if they're accessing the site in an emergency or over the course of a period of treatments; so if we can make someone smile with character illustrations we've done well!
